Renee Vergara, MA
Renee Vergara is a PsyD doctoral candidate at Pepperdine University specializing in evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents with anxiety, mood, and behavioral disorders. She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She is also trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for young children with behavioral dysregulation and PCIT-SM for selective mutism. Renee has extensive clinical experience in outpatient, inpatient, and school-based settings with children, adolescents, and their families.
She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of La Verne and her M.A. in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Renee is passionate about supporting caregiver-child relationships and helping families build healthy attachments while navigating challenges together.
In her spare time, Renee enjoys quality time with loved ones, playing pickleball, listening to true crime podcasts, and taking walks along the beach.
