Comprehensive Psychological Assessment
We offer comprehensive psychological (psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational) evaluations for children and adolescents. Our assessment services are designed to bring clarity and insight to complex questions about learning, attention, memory, mood, and behavior. Each evaluation provides individualized, evidence-based recommendations to support treatment planning, academic success, and overall wellbeing.
As a clinic specializing in behavior disorders, selective mutism (SM), anxiety disorders, and OCD, we approach every assessment through this highly informed lens. Our evaluators consider how anxiety, communication differences, and avoidance patterns may impact testing performance, daily functioning, and school engagement. This allows us to differentiate between anxiety-related barriers and true cognitive, academic, or attentional challenges, resulting in clearer diagnostic impressions and more actionable recommendations.
Our Services Include:
-
Psychodiagnostic Evaluations
Targeted evaluations to clarify emotional, behavioral, or personality factors contributing to distress or interfering with functioning, with recommendations to guide treatment planning.
-
ADHD Evaluations
Comprehensive assessment of attention, impulse control, executive functioning, and related learning or emotional factors, with tailored recommendations for home and school.
-
Learning and Academic Assessments
Evaluation of cognitive, academic, and processing skills to identify learning strengths, areas of difficulty, and evidence-based supports for school or work.
-
Cognitive Testing
Standardized assessment of intellectual and cognitive abilities to evaluate giftedness, strengths, areas for growth, and recommendations for academic planning.
-
Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs)
We recognize the unique ways that SM can influence classroom participation, communication, social relationships, testing performance, and observed behavior. Our assessments integrate school observations, caregiver and teacher interviews, and anxiety-informed testing strategies to ensure findings reflect a child’s abilities. Each IEE provides clear, school-ready recommendations to support appropriate accommodations, services, and placement decisions.
