Insurance and Rates

At WaveMind Clinic, our mission is to provide youth and families with the highest standard of evidence-based, specialty-level mental health care. To protect the quality, integrity, and accessibility of our services, WaveMind operates as a private-pay practice and does not participate directly with insurance companies. We do our best to provide financial aid, and provide families with thorough documentation to submit to insurance to optimize out-of-network insurance reimbursement. Below is more information about how payment and insurance reimbursement works.

Our Rates

Our rates range based on provider background and years of experience. Rates range from $185-$450 per 50 minute hour. If this is not doable for your family, get in touch to learn more about financial aid or options to receive reimbursement through your insurance company

Insurance

WaveMind is currently out-of-network with all insurance carriers. If you have a PPO, you may be eligible to get 60-100% of the session fee reimbursed. We can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We often have success with “Rate Accommodations” through insurance, which means insurance companies recognize us as a highly specialized provider and reimburses you up to 100% of the cost of treatment if they agree that there is not an in-network provider who can reasonably treat your child. Please get in touch with us directly and our team will walk you through how to request this through your insurance if appropriate.

If you have a flexible savings account (FSA) or health savings account (HSA), you may also be able to apply those funds to appointments.

WaveMind does not communicate with insurance, but we support families in their communication with their insurance companies. Get in touch to learn more.

Financial Aid

We believe that every child deserves access to high quality specialized care when they need it. WaveMind recognizes that not every patient can afford our services or has substantial out-of-network insurance benefits. We provide financial aid based on need and offer lower fee slots on a first-come, first-serve basis. Get in touch to learn more.
