The WaveMind Clinic is offering a great opportunity for kids with SM to generalize the skills they've learned so far in therapy by practicing speaking to other peers, adults, etc. The group will simulate a school/camp setting, as we know that this environment is where many children with selective mutism tend to struggle the most. We will practice various talking-focused games and activities such as morning meetings, circle time, "people bingo," etc. These groups are open to current WaveMind patients who have completed an evaluation with us and initiated treatment.

How much does this group cost?
Each group will be billed separately at $350. Cost subject to change.
Children between the ages of 3-9 with a diagnosis of Selective Mutism are eligible for this group.
Children must be current patients, and have received an evaluation with us, initiated treatment, and be speaking to at least one of our staff without a parent present.

What is the eligibility criteria for this group?
Will my insurance cover this group?
Our practice is out-of-network and not covered by insurance. However, if you have out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan, you may get a portion of this group reimbursed, and we can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
