Harrison Pope, MS

Harrison Pope is a PsyD doctoral student specializing evidence-based treatment for children and teens. He specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. Harrison is also trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for young children with behavior dysregulation, and PCIT-SM for children with selective mutism. Harrison has also received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has experience treating mood disorders, anxiety, disruptive behavior disorders, ADHD, and psychosis. Harrison also has experience working with substance use behaviors and working in an integrated healthcare setting. Harrison is passionate about working with children, adolescents and young adults who are experiencing significant mental health concerns and enjoys working with underserved populations such as foster, juvenile justice-involved, LGBTQIA+, and gender-diverse youth.

Harrison received his bachelor’s degree from California State University: Channel Islands in Psychology and his master’s degree from California Lutheran University in Clinical Psychology. Harrison worked in a residential treatment and non-public school setting before beginning his doctorate education, which sparked a passion for working with youth and their families.

In his spare time, Harrison loves spending time with his two dogs, Jax and Luna, as well as spending time with his friends.

Harrison Pope currently practices under the supervision of Dr. Danielle Cornacchio and Dr. Lindsey Bergman.
