Clinical program assistant at a rapidly growing private practice
The MindBloom Clinic is hiring a part-time clinical program assistant to support a clinic and team of psychologists focused on providing mental health care treatment to children, teens, and families.
Though the MindBloom Clinic serves children and teens of all ages with a variety of mental health problems, we have particular specialization in behavioral treatment for early childhood behavior problems, anxiety, and selective mutism. MindBloom has a training clinic which offers a practicum experience for doctoral graduate students and post-doctoral psychologists to learn various interventions for early childhood behavior problems, anxiety, and selective mutism. MindBloom also specializes in telehealth and remote delivery of effective child interventions.
We are looking for an organized and passionate program assistant to help support our growing clinic. While the assistant will have various administrative tasks, they will also participate in clinical meetings and patient sessions and have opportunities to learn various treatment skills and work directly with patients. Further, program assistants will have many professional development opportunities if interested in pursuing a career in mental health care or psychology.
Responsibilities Include:
Conducting intake phone calls with new families interested in services
Managing a large database of potential and current patients
Managing practice software, coordinating billing, and scheduling
Supporting clinicians in sessions with their patients as needed
Participating in supervision/didactic meetings and supporting the team as needed
Managing the clinic space (e.g., organizing waiting room, setting up/breaking down treatment rooms before/after sessions, supporting tech set up of treatment sessions)
Supporting the directors of the clinic in growth and outreach efforts

Requirements:
Bachelors degree minimum
20 hours per week available (negotiable), Minimum 1 year commitment
Previous experience in a clinical or research setting
Previous experience working with children
Interest in and passion for mental health care
