Sara Panhasi, MS
Sara Panhasi is a PsyD candidate at California Lutheran University with extensive experience providing evidence-based treatments for children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing mood disorders, trauma, behavioral challenges, and anxiety-related conditions. She has clinical expertise in treating Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social and Separation Anxiety, Tic Disorders, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) across the lifespan.
Sara has received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). She previously trained at the UCLA Child, Anxiety, OCD, and Tic Disorders Clinic, where she provided individual and group therapy for children and adolescents with anxiety-related disorders and OCD. Additionally, she worked at BNI Treatment Centers, a residential treatment facility for adolescents, where she assisted in coordinating care and supporting patients in a high-acuity setting.
Sara completed her APA-accredited internship through the South Florida Consortium Internship Program (SFCIP), where she provided individual, group, and family therapy to clients of all ages. As part of her internship, she has gained comprehensive experience conducting psychological assessments for children, teens, and adults, including evaluations for giftedness, learning disorders, and intellectual disabilities.
Sara earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and her Master of Science with an Emphasis in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University. She is on track to earn her Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from California Lutheran University by the end of 2025.
During her time off Sara enjoys spending time with her dog, going to the beach, reading, and finding amazing new food spots!
