Kaitlin Klose, MS
Kaitlin Klose is a PsyD doctoral student specializing in evidence-based treatment for children and teens. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for anxiety, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. Kaitlin is also trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) for children with behavior dysregulation and selective mutism. She received training in trauma-focused CBT and psychoanalysis, and is experienced in treating trauma, depression, and ADHD. Kaitlin also has experience working with children and teens in the foster system, as well as family reunification. Kaitlin is very passionate about suicide prevention in children and teens, specifically means restriction, and has presented on this topic across LA county.
Kaitlin received her Bachelor’s degree from DePauw University with a major in Communications and a minor in Education Studies. After working in the entertainment industry on award shows and reality competition shows for almost a decade, she discovered her true passion of psychology during the pandemic while volunteering for the Crisis Text Line (now 988). She began her doctoral degree training at California Lutheran University in 2021.
In her spare time, Kaitlin loves spending time with her friends and family, exercising, baking gluten-free treats, and watching lots of reality television!
